Supreme Court: the Shortlist

I understand that four candidates were interviewed on Saturday afternoon for the vacant seat on the Supreme Court. Each was allowed one hour, starting at 2 pm.

The four were:

  • Lady Justice Arden
  • Lord Justice Dyson
  • Lord Justice Maurice Kay
  • Lord Justice Wilson

I do not know which candidate the panel chose. However, given that Lord Justice Dyson came a close second for the post of Master of the Rolls in July, I would regard him as the favourite for appointment.

If I am wrong about Lord Justice Dyson, I would expect Lord Justice Maurice Kay to get the job.
