Justice X

As the new legal term opens, there is still no announcement from Downing Street as to who will fill the vacant seat on the Supreme Court. We can be pretty sure that someone has been appointed, as he or she is listed to sit for the first time in an immigration case on February 15.

So who is it? As an asture reader points out, it is someone called “Justice X”.

Will Justice X be named by next month? Or will the judge have to appear in court wearing a hood and with his or her words spoken by an actor? Perhaps we shall have to start monitoring the Court of Appeal lists to find out who is missing.
